The American Saves the Day

Opening Day has come and gone and now it’s time for bed to get ready for a Saturday Doubleheader.  Tyler Collins the lone U.S. Import on the Blue Sox put the first run on the board after a “triple” and a wild pitch, then he finished his great day with a deep bases loaded sac-fly in the bottom of the 9th for the win 3-2 over the Melbourne Aces.

Announcing and on-field entertainment was a success, media was in attendance, we got a Fox Video package shipped out to various newsrooms, social media and website were buzzing, crowd was happy and Syd’s Lucky Dot raffle was a success for the first night.  All in all we had a good but longgg night.  It is now 3am and the pillow is calling my name.  Back to the ballpark in t-6 hours.
